mining and recovering valuable elements from water
Water is an indispensable resource, not only for the water itself but also the valuable metals within it. Harvesting these metals contained in various water sources could augment supplies of metals needed for critical technologies such as electronics, electric vehicles, and solar cells.

capture & Conversion of ACIDIC GASES
Acidic gases released into the atmosphere can produce climate change and acid rain, but scrubbing CO2 and SO2 from flue gas are chemically or thermally intensive processes. Closed-loop, electrochemical methods are needed to scrub acidic gases more sustainably.
